Old Office Fanmix for Reference

If Dwight had Mose make him a fanmix of his life, this is what it would be. Through the creation of this fanmix, I kind of created my own version of Mose. My Mose is afraid of Angela, resents Michael, and really loves musicals.

I was the youngest pilot in Pan Am history. When I was four, the pilot let me ride in the cockpit and fly the plane with him. And I was four, and I was great and I would have landed it, but my dad wanted us to go back to our seats.
"It's Possible (In McElligot’s Pool)” Seussical: The Musical
This might be a pool,
Like I've read of in books,
Connected to one of those underground brooks!
An underground river
That starts here and flows
Right under this bathtub!
And then-
Who knows!
It's possible!
Anything's possible!
As a child, Dwight developed one of his greatest traits—an unlimited imagination. His thoughts of superheroes allowed him to survive life on an isolated farm and now his thoughts of battling big business and serving the common man allows him to work under fluorescent light eight hours a day.
When I was in the sixth grade, I was a finalist in our school spelling bee. It was me against Raj Patel. And I misspelled, in front of the entire school...the word "failure."
"Woe is Me (Reprise)" The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
I hope you still love me, America
America, I
Gave it my best try
If you still don’t love me, America
I understand why
You hate losers
So do I
I’m a loser
So goodbye
After a crushing loss at the spelling bee, Dwight, with more dedication than ever, continued his rise to greatness.

I have been Michael's number two guy for about five years, and we make a great team. We're like one of those classic famous teams. He's like Mozart and I'm like Mozart's friend. No, I'm like Butch Cassidy and Michael is like Mozart. You try and hurt Mozart, you're gonna get a bullet in your head, courtesy of Butch Cassidy.
"Friendship" Anything Goes
If you're ever in a jam, here I am.
If you’re ever in a mess, SOS
If you ever feel so happy you land in jail,
I'm your bail.
It's friendship, friendship,
Just a perfect blendship,
When other friendships have been forgot
Ours will still be hot!
After finding employment at Dunder-Mifflin, Dwight found another friend, Michael Scott. Dwight was willing to do anything for his new friend, Michael. Things he wouldn’t even consider doing for people who are related to him, have known him longer, and do the majority of the work at his beet farm.
Dammit, he put my stapler in jello again!
"Battle of Who Could Care Less" Ben Folds Five
Do you not hear me anymore?
I know it's not your thing to care
I know it's cool to be so bored
Sucks me in when you're aloof
It sucks me in, it sucks, it works
I guess it's cool to be alone
Will ya never rest?
Fighting the battle of who could care less
Everyday you wake up late
Sometimes I wish I was
That way
Dwight’s happiness was shirt-lived, though. Soon, a new employee named Jim stole Michael’s friendship away from Dwight. Although, Dwight probably deserved this for leaving his old friends stranded in the middle of nowhere with no car until six in the even, Dwight took his rage out on Jim. Jim only responded with the recklessness and boyish charm that attracted Michael to him in the first place. Jim lost Michael’s favor when a new temp came in. Dwight and Jim are still enemies.
Blood alone moves the wheels of history! Have you ever asked yourselves in an hour of meditation, which everyone finds during the day, how long we have been striving for greatness? Not only the years we’ve been at war … the war of work. But from the moment, as a child, and we realized that the world could be conquered. It has been a lifetime struggle, a never-ending fight, I say to you. And you will understand that it is a privilege to fight! We are warriors! Salesmen of Northeastern Pennsylvania, I ask you, once more rise and be worthy of this historical hour.
"Philosophy" Ben Folds Five
Go ahead you can laugh all you want
I got my philosophy
[Keeps my feet on the ground]
And I trust it like the ground
That's why my philosophy
It keeps me walking when I'm falling down
I see that there is evil
And I know that there is good
And the in-betweens I never understood
Won't you look at me, I'm crazy,
But I get the job done
Yeah, I'm crazy, but I get the job done
The enmity between Dwight and Jim drove Dwight to reevaluate his entire outlook on life and find out what he was doing so wrong. After much meditation, Dwight concluded that he was right about everything and that Jim was an idiot.

What about that meeting later to... discuss finances?
Yes... but don't expect any cookie.
But what if I'm hungry?
No cookie.
"Let's Misbehave" Anything Goes
There's some wild about you, child, that's so contagious;
Let's be outrageous -- let's misbehave.
When Adam won Eve's hand, he wouldn't stand for teasin' --
He didn't care, although the fruit was out of season.
Dwight began a torrid affair with a woman, who for safety concerns, will be hence known as Noelle.
Yeah and then they make you drive them to church the next morning, like gas ain’t free.
"Church on Sunday" Green Day
If I promise to go to church on Sunday
Will you go with me on Friday night?
If you live with me, I'll die for you
And this compromise
Dwight’s relationship with Noelle became more serious. Dwight chose to “visit” with Noelle more frequently and even, despite the Schrute family’s schism with organized religion, attended church with her.
I know that patience and loyalty are good and virtuous traits, but sometimes I just think you need to grow a pair.
"Blood Money/Damned for all Time” Jesus Christ Superstar
Now if I help you, it matters that you see
These sordid kinda things are coming hard to me.
It's taken me some time to work out what to do.
I weighed the whole thing out before I came to you.
I have no thought at all about my own reward.
I really didn't come here of my own accord.
Just don't say I'm ... damned for all time.
With her icy cold hand curled around his… heart, Dwight was convinced by Noelle to betray his boss and friend Michael Scott. Michael Scott was informed of Dwight’s betrayal by his woman lover Jan. Michael decided not to fire Dwight, but to make him do his laundry. Michael could never fully trust Dwight again.

Although I love this company more than almost anything in the world, I have decided to step down from my post and spend more time with my family. I do not fear the unknown. I will meet my new challenges head-on, and I will succeed, and I will laugh in the faces of those who doubt me. It's been a pleasure working with some of you, and I will not forget those of you soon. But remember, while today it is me, we all shall fall. In other words, I'm quitting.
"Cold as Ice" Foreigner
You're as cold as ice
You're willing to sacrifice our love
You never take advice
Someday you'll pay the price
I know
I've seen it before
It happens all the time
You're closing the door
You leave the world behind
You're digging for gold
Yet throwing away
A fortune in feelings
But someday you'll pay
In a tragically comic scenario out of a stage play, Dwight was forced to either reveal his relationship with Noelle or quit his beloved job at Dundler-Mifflin. Noelle made him to quit his job. Dwight is resentful and Noelle is feeling guilty. Dwight does not invite her over for cookies for a long time.
It takes a big man to admit his mistake and that’s what I did. The important thing is I learned something. I don’t want somebody sucking up to me because they think I’m going to help their career. I want them sucking up to me because they genuinely love me.
"'Til Him" The Producers
No one every made me feel like someone
'Til him
Life was really nothing but a glum one
'Til him
My existence bordered on the tragic
Always timid, never took a chance
Then I felt his magic
And my heart began to dance
Dwight and Michael are reunited after Noelle explains (partly) why Dwight wasn’t betraying Michael again. Michael’s confession at Staples validated Dwight in a way I cannot explain or am able to understand. Michael and Dwight’s friendship is back and better than ever. Yay.
Hello, Angela.
Hi, Dwight.
You look as beautiful as the Queen of England.
Thank you. Don’t linger. Break left. Left!
"Lady" Styx
Lady, when you're with me I'm smiling
Give me all your love
Your hands build me up when I'm sinking
Touch me and my troubles all fade
Lady, from the moment I saw you
Standing all alone
You gave all the love that I needed
So shy, like a child who has grown
Noelle and Dwight are reunited. They eat cookies almost nightly. Until one in the morning. When there are some people who have to get up at four to walk the fields.
