Feb. 19th, 2004 12:13 pmWell, as a Sacramentan, my thought process has been interrupted by gay marriage and Arnold. Protests, GSA meetings, CNN. Oh, remember when I was caught up in meeting Saddam Husein. So young, so carefree. *sigh*

The television flickered on, and BJ flipped to a sedate news channel. He grabbed his felt paper and markers. It’s a cheap addiction, he mused. The “velvet” coloring book he bought at Long’s would soon be finished and adorn his walls like the other ten before it. Once BJ started doodling with his granddaughter, it was hard to stop. BJ colored a star.
“I think that gay marriage is something that should be between a man and a woman," gubernatorial candidate Arnold Schwarzenegger said.
BJ stopped dead in his tracks when he heard. ”I knew I should have voted Bustamante.”
